A sick realization...

Life is too damn expensive.
And I have no money.

It really just dawned on me how much everything really, really costs when you have to pay for it all on your own, especially at 16 years of age.

My parents chewed me out all day about how bad I need a job, and I know their right... but it's not like I haven't tried. I filed a job application at A Local Summer Camp, Hiem's food market, Hot Topic, Torrid, Zumies, PacSun, and woe bid I say... I even filed one at McDonalds. Serious, it is ear impossible to find work. I've found a few commissions, but not nearly enough to be substantial for even the summer.

Ugh.
The sick realization; Without money I can do nothing, go nowhere and be nobody. No job, no money, no life. My parent's are as broke as me and can't afford anything extra.

The crashing fact; I CAN TRY ALL I WANT, THAT DOESN'T MEAN I WILL FIND A JOB.

It's not just a want anymore, its a NEED. I have my drivers permit, and around this time next year I'll be getting my license... meaning I'll be getting a car. And I'll need money for the car, the insurance, and on a weekly basis, the gas. And if I don't get my own car, I'll have to pay gas by the gallon to my parents/friends... cos I'm no freeloader.

This all bites.

You are one of the only people I have met that have thorougly impressed me. Mind you, I do not impress easily. Furthermore you have a talent that I have never seen before and that is what will take you places. You make good stories, good art, and good damn sense. I want you to know that whatever you do, I will support you 157% of the way. Don't let anyone, and I mean anyone, tell you what you can and can't do, because only you are your limit.
