I'm a little girl learning to do a lot of big things.
My name is Nicole; but you can call me whatever you'd like.
Born in the dead of winter and raised in a place where darkness meets the light.
I like pretty, lacy things and minty gum.
My favourite colour is burgundy.
And I draw because I feel like I should.
I trip over my own two feet at least once a day and laugh about everything (especially the things I shouldn't).
When I start to worry about things, it's usually too late.
I also have what some may consider an alarming and macabre fascination with the dead.
My eyes often wander when I talk and I watch my feet when I walk, but my heart is always looking up.
I'm used to doing stuff wrong, but I like to think I'm right anyways.
I always stay up too late, talk too loud, spend my money carelessly, and speak my mind far too freely (but I'm comfortable with that).
I'm kind of what you call 'brutally impulsive'.
As well, I'm a collector of antique teacups, animal skulls and pokemon cards.
I want lots of tattoos and most days, I wish my eyes weren't such a boring shade of brown.
It's safe to say that I'm honest. Terribly, horribly, grotesquely honest.
To create is to be infinite.

Well, I never really know what to write in these things, I suppose I never really have anything noteworthy enough to say to bother everyone with a journal entry. >,< I guess now I'm just updating for 2012 and the fact that my subscription runs out today. i've had one for as long as I an remember now, and it will be weird to not have one anymore. I simply can't afford to toss 30 dollars out for another year subscription though, sadly.
Anyways, this has been an amazing year, met a lot of awesome people, new friends, fallen head over heels for LauraBean (https://www.deviantart.com/laurabean), (what does that saying even mean? Isn't your head always over your heels technically?

HUMP DAY! C: Aka Wednesday XD I call it special because I don't have any classes on Wednesdays ._. So I have this niiiiiiiiiiice little break from college in the middle of the week this semester.
Speaking of which- I'm really heavily considering leaving UArts. The more nd more I thnk about it, the less and less I was to be an Illustrator as a main job. I would much rather have short term contracts or commissions as side jobs for extra money than to have it as my main source of income. My art has been improving vastly over the past month due to rigorous anatomy and pictorial foundation classes, but my feelings still remain the same.
